Call your friends, call your dogs, and lace up your favorite kicks. The 2021 Banfield Foundation Fun(d) Run is on Saturday, September 18, and we can all run, walk, hike, and bike to raise money for pets who need help.

Why are we running?

Because we love the lemon-lime-acai-berry-sweetness of our favorite energy drink? Maybe. Because we crave glory, victory, and adulation? Sure. But what’s even better is that the Fun(d) Run helps raise money for the foundation’s HOPE Funds program, which offers financial assistance for income-qualified pet owners whose pets are suffering from an immediately life-threatening condition.

“We're always finding ways to increase the number of pets that receive access to critical veterinary care — whether they have a home or are waiting for one,” said Kim Van Syoc, Executive Director of the foundation. “We also love to bring pet lovers together to support each other, the pets we love, and the important work of the Banfield Foundation. We're proud that this year's fund run will support our HOPE Funds program, which in partnership with Banfield, helps to make emergency veterinary care possible for pets in need.”

Where are we running and how do we register?

The run is… everywhere! Yep, it’s a virtual event, which means you can do it anywhere in the world. Head out with friends and family, or just jog by yourself. You can even bring your four-legged BFF (be safe, keep them leashed up, you know the drill). Whatever works for you. And please share photos after the run — post them on Instagram or Facebook, hashtag #bfundrun

Last year, we had more than 300 people from 44 states and 5 countries participate — we are hoping for another 300 this year!

Register by August 8, 2021. Entry fee is $45, with two package options: A full package complete with race bib, medal, bandana, and special edition V Coterie® pin sent by race day, and a “no swag” option for the minimalist among us.
