Alex Bellerive, DVM

Dr. Bellerive grew up right here in Olathe, KS. She knew she was going to be a veterinarian since she could talk, always "rescuing" stray animals when she was little. She attended Saint Thomas Aquinas for high school. She then went on to K-State and graduated with her Bachelors in Animal Science in 2015. After finishing college, she ventured to the island of St. Kitts to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After spending 2.5 years on the island, she attended the University of Missouri to finish her clinical year of veterinary school before coming back to KC to start practicing as a small animal veterinarian. She has a 2-year-old crazy Labrador named Theo and a 6-year-old sassy island kitty named Boo. Dr, Bellerive loves all things surgery and working through more difficult cases. She also loves spending time with her family/friends and watching the Chiefs (usually at Arrowhead).
