Amanat Suag, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Suag always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little kid, inspired by her father who was a veterinary officer in India (now retired). She earned her veterinary degree in India and later pursued licensure for North America through the PAVE program in 2022, completing her internship at Oklahoma State University and externships at multiple hospitals across San Francisco. Since then, she has been practicing in various hospitals throughout the Bay Area. She has always grown up with dogs, especially Rottweilers, and has a dog named Cooper in India whom she misses every day. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Suag is currently pursuing an online MBA to strengthen her knowledge of the business side of veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, exploring beaches and mountains, gardening, and spending time with her family and close friends.
