I grew up following my dad, a wildlife biologist, around and "helping" him with any foster wildlife we temporarily had in the house. I didn't know it then, but it was always the human-animal bond that amazed me, which is why I continue to see opportunities to get out and interact with animals. This has included swimming with sea turtles, kangaroo yoga and swimming with elephants. This is why the obvious career choice for me was as a veterinarian. I am privileged to be the Area Chief of Staff for this location and two others. At work, I love playing with the pets when they come into the office and making their experience as fear free as possible. I also have a strong interest in soft tissue surgery.
