Katelyn Frischhertz, DVM

Dr. Katelyn Frischhertz was born and raised in Lawtell, Louisiana. She moved to Baton Rouge in 2013 to pursue her bachelor's degree in animal science with a concentration in dairy production and later a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from Louisiana State University. Throughout vet school, Dr. Katelyn pursued a track in mixed animal medicine, focusing on aspects of veterinary medicine for both large and small animal patients. Shortly after graduation in 2020, Dr. Katelyn joined the Banfield team in Baton Rouge. Dr. Katelyn's special interests include dermatology and ophthalmology. She shares her home with her husband and five furbabies: Evie, Abita, Endymion, Hael, and Tuna. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.
