Michaela Manderfeld, DVM

Dr. Michaela Manderfeld grew up in Northfield, Minnesota. After graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, as the youngest in her class, she is happy to be practicing at Banfield in her home state of Minnesota. Dr. Manderfeld has been with Banfield since early 2020. She has a passion for preventative and senior pet care, public health, and rescue and rehabilitation. Throughout veterinary school, she and her husband opened their home to countless neglected and abused dogs — one of them being their foster-failure, a little Lhasa Apso mix. Dr. Manderfeld serves as a board member for a non-profit animal rescue group. She also prides herself on being Fear-Free Certified, as it is important to reduce stress during veterinary visits. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, fostering, and running marathons with her husband.
