Virginia just recently joined the Banfield family as a veterinary assistant in November 2020. She graduated from Virginia Tech with her bachelor of science degree in animal and poultry sciences in May of 2020. In undergrad, she studied companion/lab animals, equine, and livestock species while also working in undergraduate research with rodents. In the future, she hopes to attend vet school and earn her DVM, tracking in livestock animals. In the meantime, she works to share her passion for all animals with her coworkers and clients. When she isn’t working, Virginia enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their house full of pets!
