Keely Shine, DVM

Dr. Keely Shine was born in Lafayette, Indiana and moved to Louisiana in 2018 to attend vet school at LSU. Dr. Shine graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2013, After graduations she joined the United States Navy, where she has served for the past 10 years. Dr. Shine loves large and small animal medicine. She runs a successful ambulatory large animal veterinary service when she is not at Banfield. She also owns a CrossFit Affiliate, so in her spare time you can probably find her working out or coaching classes. Dr. Shine has a German Shepard and two horses. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and American Association of Equine Practitioners.
